Whitefish Soup for Four

Ingredients

Fresh whitefish 500g
Potatoes 500g
Sliced vegetables 200g
Spread Kitka 100g
Dill
Salt
Pepper

How to Prepare

Make filets from whitefish. Cook the fishbone with salt and pepper (for more flavor). Put half of the Spread Kitka package to a kettle, add vegetables and potatoes and let it be stewed for 5 minutes. Pour hot, sifted broth and cook until the potatoes are almost ready. Add sliced filets and add some more Spread Kitka. Add dill and cook for a few minutes.

Roach Mayonnaise

Ingredients

Mayonnaise 2dl
Smoked Roach of Kitkan Herkku 1 package
Onion 1 piece
Mustard 1 spoon
Garlic 1 clove
Dill
Black Pepper

How to prepare

Take away the oil from the can. Blend the roach with mixer. Add mayonnaise and other ingredients. Flavor.
Excellent dip for roasted fish, potatoes or chips!

Filling for Baked Potato

Ingredients

Spread Kitka 100g
Curd Cheese 100g
Garlic 2 cloves
Pickled Raw Fish (Trout) 50g
Dill

How to Prepare

Mix curd cheese, trout, dill and garlic. Add Spread Kitka and put it into the fridge for few hours (flavor will be stronger and better)

Delicious Smoked Vendace Soup

Ingredients

Smoked Vendace of Kitkan Herkku (Kitkan Savumuikku 215g) 1 piece
Potatoes (solid quality, for example Van Goch) 500g
Sliced, chopped onion 100g
Fish broth (see instructions from whitefish soup) 1ltr 
Whipped cream 2dl
White pepper, Pimento
Dill
